#1 Introduction

Growing up we sometimes get confused about who we are and what we know. Even GREAT artists ponder questions of who they are, so they paint or take a picture or make a collage to help them get answers.

Using GREAT masterpieces and the Library of Congress collections pieces, look at the GREAT pictures to help you define the GREAT YOU!!!

Using pictures to awaken your inside voice, discover through self-reflection, art, and conversation, what it is that makes you GREAT!!!

#3 Process

  • Choose 5-8 pictures to help you define who the GREAT you is!

 

  • Find a picture: really look at the picture and study what it is or means to you.
    What stories or feelings arise when you see it?
  • Using Word or Paint or BOTH, describe the intial stories and feelings.
    If you want, collect the Word documents or Paint images, then put into a PowerPoint presentation or a private journal.

You are filled with GREATNESS and UNIQUENESS. As you keep growing you are constantly redefining and learning who you are. You can learn from any photo or painting. Keep searching and journaling and creating.
